The Integrated Musculoskeletal, Pain and Rheumatology Service (IMPReS)
The IMPReS covers the East Lancashire footprint of Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Blackburn, and Darwen.
Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary Pain Management Service to support the development of a Community Pain Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside an existing Band 7 Physiotherapist and Team Leader within the Pain Management Service.
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of Pain Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Psychologists, and Specialist Occupational Therapists.
- Provide a high level of clinical expertise with advanced assessment skills and therapeutic interventions.
- Engage in integrated working across the IMPReS model, developing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Evaluate the pain management pathway, including the development and established use of quality outcome measures.
- Provide highly specialist knowledge and advice.
- Offer teaching and highly specialist support in various formats to colleagues, patients, carers, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to delivering a highly effective, safe, and personalized service tailored to individual patients' needs.
- Manage a defined caseload of patients requiring highly specialized therapy skills.
