Clinical Specialist – Robotics & Orthopaedics | Johnson & Johnson MedTech| Lancashire

Clinical Specialist – Robotics & Orthopaedics (Commission-Based)

At Johnson & Johnson MedTech

At Johnson & Johnson, we believe health is everything. Seek to drive innovation in orthopaedics through clinical excellence, technology, and robotic-assisted solutions.

DePuy Synthes, a global leader in orthopaedic care, is preparing to establish a standalone orthopaedics company. As a trailblazer in this transition, you will join DePuy Synthes following the planned separation, becoming an employee of DePuy Synthes within 18–24 months, supporting its mission to advance patient care.

The Opportunity

You’ll serve as a Clinical Specialist – Robotics & Orthopaedics, partnering with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital stakeholders to accelerate adoption of cutting-edge solutions:

  • VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution (orthopaedic robotics)
  • ATTUNE™ Knee System (next-gen knee replacement tech)
  • Wider orthopaedic portfolio (surgery-enabling technologies)

Perhaps the most exciting role is driving the growth of robotic surgery, with a track record of helping teams overcome learning curves and deliver seamless patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Technical Support
  • Provide in-theatre guidance for DePuy Synthes products, including robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff to ensure safe usage and clinical excellence.
  • Educate on product indications, surgical techniques, and procedural applications—both conventional and robotic cases.
  • Cover high-volume orthopaedic surgeries across your assigned territory.
Robotics Programme Development
  • Launch and sustain robotic surgery programmes.
  • Support early-stage robotic adoption, optimising workflows for new surgeons.
  • Drive higher utilisation rates, case volume, and strategic robotic targets through training and ongoing engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
