An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our friendly, supportive and welcoming team on a secondment or fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave within the Macmillan Day Bed Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual with experience working as a Healthcare Support Worker to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the nursing and medical teams to provide care and support to patients attending the unit. The role includes providing both clinical and administrative support to nurse practitioners, nursing staff and medical staff, and undertaking a range of clinical and non-clinical duties following relevant training.
Applicants must be competent in venepuncture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate, patient-centred care. No cancer experience is necessary, but a genuine interest in cancer care is essential.
