An exciting opportunity has come for a member of staff to join our theatre Recovery team.
The role is on a part-time basis and is for 17 hours over Monday-Friday. The shift starts at 08am and finishes at 08pm.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with personal care after surgery
- Transferring patients to wards
- General cleaning and checking of equipment
Desired Experience
- Theatre experience would be desired but not essential
- NHS experience
Additional Information
- Provide and support patients as necessary with both personal and clinical care activities.
- Maintain accurate records of the patient’s care, documenting as appropriate on the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner) in line with Trust, professional, and departmental guidelines.
- Observe patients and report any changes to a Registered professional for review.
- Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
- Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control, and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
