Role Overview
The Clinical Systems Facilitator will be required to support with managing the systems within Diagnostic Imaging, implement an efficient workflow and interface with other health information system databases as part of the patient's Electronic Health Record.
Responsibilities
The prevalent aspect of the post holder’s responsibilities is to maintain the efficient use of the system by various users and ensuring clinical user satisfaction.
The post holder will provide routine technical, operational and administrative support to the Clinical Systems within Diagnostic Imaging. The post incorporates numerous roles including change management, planning, training, problem solving, quality assurance, customer relations and policy administration.

As Clinical Systems Facilitator, the post holder is guided by principles and broad occupational policies as they have significant discretion to work within a set of defined parameters in order to administrate this specialist function including the deployment, training and development of the team. The post holder will work as an integral member of the Clinical Systems team in Diagnostic Imaging as well as the Leadership team, liaising closely with other members of the team.

There will be a requirement to work outside of normal working hours to support the Trust’s Clinical Systems during system failure/downtime. The post holder will deputise for other members of the team in their absence.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
