Clinical Team Leader (CTL) – Cygnet Hospital Harrogate

We are looking for a confident Clinical Team Leader (CTL) who can inspire, support, and oversee the delivery of the very best care.
About the Role
You’ll be working 38.5 hours per week at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, a long-established mental health hospital that provides an emergency admissions service across two acute wards.
The service includes a full Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), featuring:
- Consultant psychiatrists
- Doctors
- A therapy team (inclusively group and activities coordinators, nursing therapists)
- Comprehensive therapy programmes – all service users can access a minimum of 25 hours’ therapy per week, with group and individual therapies available.
Our team collaborates closely with service users, their families, and referrers to deliver a seamless pathway from referral to discharge.

What You’ll Be Doing
Take lead responsibility in:
- Undertaking regular care audits
- Providing clinical leadership, coaching & mentoring
- Maintaining excellence through clinical practice development & quality improvement
- Ensuring adherence to an annual Quality and Compliance plan
- Effectively contributing to relevant clinical working committees
- Upholding continuous professional development (CPD) and training engagement
Under NMC guidelines:
- Ensuring individual care plans are complete & well-maintained
- Administering medicines in compliance with healthcare procedures & Guidelines

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
An experienced Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse (RNLD) with:
- A current NMC Pin Number
- At least two years’ relevant nursing experience
- Proven ability to:
- Maintain rigorous documentation & conduct audits
- Demonstrate integrity in clinical practice
- Apply updated nursing practices effectively
- Commitment to service users' recovery, including:
- Risk monitoring & management
- Supporting reduced risk & empowerment
- Essential personal attributes:
- Compassion
- Resilience
- Drive to support service user independence
