Clinical Team Manager

Vacancy Introduction

The LCH Community Dietetic Teams are looking to recruit a permanent 1.0 Whole Time Equivalent (WTE) (37.5 hours) Band 7 Clinical Team Manager.

You need to:

  • Have an excellent grasp of issues within this specialty
  • Possess experience in working with a range of stakeholders and the challenges that arise

About the Service

LCH Community Dietetic Teams deliver high-standard quality care and innovation. The unit consists of three individual service offers:

  • Adult Dietetics
  • Adult Home Enteral Feeding
  • Children’s Dietetics Team (including Home Enteral Feeding)

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as an outstanding role model in teamworking and collaboration within diverse roles.
  • Demonstrate highly effective communication skills to facilitate day-to-day team operations and support colleagues with operational queries.
  • Lead initiatives to develop coaching and change strategy skills within the team.
  • Ensure strong IT proficiency and effective collaborative working with colleagues across services.

This Role Is For You If:

  • You are eager to develop leadership skills and shape team culture.

  • You aim to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while collaborating with stakeholders.

You will report to the Operational Heads of Service and collaborate with fellow Team Managers and Clinical Leads.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Prove experience in supervisory roles, ready to take on leadership challenges.
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive change that enhances service quality while operating within finite resources.
  • Role-model professionalism, fostering best practice across all team areas.
  • Promote innovative ways to manage operational pressures while exhibiting resilience.
  • Work closely with Clinical Leads to ensure the effective delivery of service policies.

The successful candidate will retain a small caseload in Adult Dietetics.
