Nutricia UK is the highly successful arm of Danone's Medical Division, and a leader in the market, working to make medical nutrition an integral part of healthcare. Nutricia is the dietetic voice in the business - we use clinical and nutritional knowledge for our ultimate goal of improving outcomes for patients.

Role Purpose

The Clinical Territory Manager role is a key part of the Paediatric Sales team, managing their own business within the territory. This role supports customers in both Primary and Secondary care and delivers clinical and commercial messaging to drive sales of our Paediatric portfolio of allergy and challenged growth products.

  • Build the credibility and relevancy of the paediatric Nutricia portfolio across the full health economy (hospital and community), driving both commercial opportunity and patient value
  • Drive and implement guidelines and pathway strategy (allergy and paediatric growth) through close cross functional working to provide bespoke value propositions and market share optimisation

Key Activities

Business Planning and Territory Management

  • Develop and implement cross functional account plans aligned to national strategic priorities
  • Monitor performance against business plans and provide monthly business reviews to the paed RBM
  • Identify and profile Key Opinion Leaders and Key Influencers. Devise specific action plans for their management with cross functional input from medical/marketing
  • Deliver against commercial and activity targets as defined by account plans/Sales Incentive Scheme (SIS) and activity KPIS
  • Provide information and insights to inform category forecasting and activation plans
  • Create customer investment plans (territory budget) & define return on investment working closely with regional team and RBM

Pathways/Guidelines/Formularies

  • Work with the adult contract account manager to optimise paediatric portfolio usage across hospital setting optimise Nutricia contract formulary listings, drive niche product listings in competitor contracts and drive branded discharge
  • Achieve positive formulary and guideline product listings through influence of key HCP/NHS stakeholders (in conjunction with paed RBM/HDM)
  • Monitor and track guideline performance, across territory with support of paed RBM/HDM
  • Develop a value-based proposition for stakeholders within ICB, ICS, Place, PCN (in conjunction with paed RBM/HDM)

Customer Impact and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver against key opinion leader/ influencers plan within ICS/PCN/HB and other NHS bodies through cross functional working with paed RBM/paed HDM
  • Effective management and mobilisation of KOLs/Commercial advocates.
  • Clinical stakeholder management to deliver superiority messages.
  • Support the Nutricia enteral feeding contracts where required
  • Involvement in sponsored events and educational meetings as appropriate in line with account plans
  • Engage cross functionally to drive business growth and deliver against expectations and KPI’s

In person engagement with customers is an integral part of this role therefore, you will spend 4-5 days in the field per week meeting with customers.

This is a field based role, covering Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Wiltshire

About You

Salary Bracket

£45,000 - £50,000. We’ll also provide you with a company car & fuel card.

Our field-based principles mean you’ll need to be living in Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire or Wiltshire. If you're unable to relocate, we will not be able to consider your application for this role. You will also need to hold a full UK driving license and must be comfortable with regular driving to meet with your customers.
