Clinical Unit Manager – Dementia, Nursing & Residential Care (HC One)

About The Role

Do you want to provide kindness and make a difference to people in need?

Was it your love of learning and the opportunity to work closely with multi-professional teams that drew you to nursing?

At HC One, the Kind Care Company, we offer a career where kindness is not just valued—it is truly rewarded.

Possibly at the start of an exciting career journey or with years of experience as a registered nurse, working in a care home environment can be incredibly fulfilling. It embodies the practice of nursing while building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with Residents and their loved ones.

We’re seeking kind nurses to join our dedicated care home teams across the UK, offering:

  • Enhanced rates of pay that progress with experience
  • A wide range of attractive company benefits

About You

As a Clinical Unit Manager at HC One, your core value is kindness—applied every day across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our teams understand that every Resident is an individual with their own story to tell.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for a unit within your care home, ensuring the highest level of clinical excellence is delivered. This includes:

  • Operating the home independently when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent
  • Decision-making on resident-specific care (e.g., mobility assessments, sample collection, medication administration)
  • Maintaining resident dignity and wellbeing as your top priority

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
