Are you a passionate and innovative nurse, midwife or allied health professional looking to make an impact on workforce development across one of the largest NHS organisations in the East of England?

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Workforce Lead to join our corporate Clinical Workforce Team.

Working closely with the Head of Clinical Workforce, you will play a key role in delivering the Trust's workforce ambitions by supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of recruitment, retention and career development initiatives for our non-medical clinical workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about staff development, workforce transformation and creating innovative solutions that improve both staff experience and patient care. If you are passionate about developing people, driving innovation and making a meaningful impact across the organisation, we would love to hear from you.

As Clinical Workforce Lead, you will support the delivery of the Trust's Clinical Workforce Strategy in line with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, NHS People Promise and ESNEFT's organisational objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
