About the Role
This principal psychologist role will involve:
- Leading the provision of psychological interventions.
- Supporting individuals in prison struggling with substance misuse from a psychological perspective.
- Supervising and overseeing Assistant Psychologists.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including:
- Nursing staff
- Prison staff
- Other wellbeing-focused organisations.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop trauma-informed practice using the latest research.
- Work to establish an evidence-based psychological model.
