Working within the specialist weight management service you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based intervention to people living with obesity across Northumberland and North Tyneside localities.
You will work alongside dietitians, physical activity providers, and pharmacists and medics within a health behaviour change service to offer direct clinical assessment and intervention as well as MDT working.

About the Role
To provide high-quality, effective applied psychology services to the Health Psychology services.
To provide effective psychological assessment and interventions (including 1:1 and group) to the patients of the service.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for clinical governance of own work according to trust policies.

To undertake R&D activities for audit, policy, and service development in conjunction with service leads.
Supervises and supports the clinical activities of assistants and trainees in CHP.
