Vacancy for Psychological Therapist (CBT) or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Role Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for the following positions:

  • Psychological Therapist – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Apply here

About the Role

The successful candidate will combine clinical delivery with broader service responsibilities, including:

  • Managing a clinical caseload
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to practitioners
  • Developing clinical skills via mentorship
  • Supporting service quality, workforce development, and best practice dissemination

Working within our multidisciplinary team, your role will focus on delivering high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and create detailed psychological formulations
  • Develop personalised treatment plans aligned with client needs, assessment findings, and evidence-based recovery goals
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions using models like CBT, Dynamic Therapy (for clinical psychologists), and other modalities, adapting approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and external agencies for integrated psychological care
