Job Description
Clinical / Counselling Psychologist - Mindplace Leeds (Face to Face)
Location: Mindplace Leeds, Great Exhibition Way, Kirkstall Forge, Leeds, LS5 3BF

Centre opening hours: Monday to Saturday 8am to 10pm
Session Requirements: We can offer sessions Monday to Sunday during the following times: Early shift: 08:00-16:00 Late shift: 14:00-22:00 At least one of your shifts will need to be a late shift Each day will include 5 appointments

Your Role
As a Clinical Counselling Psychologist within Bupa Health Services, you’ll use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, happier lives. You’ll spend the majority of your time with our customers, doing what you do best.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes. Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence-based intervention. Offer different models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations. Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team. Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance. Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed. Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching. Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations. Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training. Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies. Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings. Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.

Essential
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society. Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. General adult mental health experience. At least 1 year’s post-qualification clinical experience.
Desirable
Training and accreditation in specialized areas of psychological relevance. Corporate experience. Excellent leadership and management skills.
Key Skills & Experience
General adult mental health specialism experience. Corporate experience and business understanding. Up-to-date CPD. Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems. Ability to evaluate, plan, and prioritize workload within demanding time scales. Proven customer service and client liaison experience. Excellent application of clinical knowledge. Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Experience managing own caseload and working towards individual targets and outcomes. High standards in written and oral communication. Diverse and varied clinical experience.
