Classification: Health Professional Level 3/ Psychologist Level 3 (PN 61634)
Note: This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 3 or Psychologist Level 3 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
HP3 Salary: $111,639 - $120,057 (Plus 12.5% Super)
P3 Salary: $123,014 - $133,492 (Plus 12.5% Super)

About the Role:
Make a meaningful difference for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in the ACT.
Alcohol and Drug Services (ADS) is seeking a passionate and experienced Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Senior Allied Health Professional to join our Police and Court Diversion Services team.
In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe assessment, counselling, advocacy, referral, and support for people experiencing alcohol and other drug issues who are involved with the justice system. You will play a key role in supporting diversion from the justice system through health-focused interventions and strong partnerships with consumers, families, communities, and stakeholders.

Eligibility:
This is an Identified position in accordance with Section 27(4) of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 and is only open to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.

- Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
