Clinicians - Assistant Psychologist
Assistant Psychologist FTC 12 months Location: Glasgow Salary: £31,492per annum Hours: 37.5 per week Why join us? MAIN PURPOSE: To work under the clinical supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological support to the neuro-rehabilitation programme at our Hospital in Glasgow. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the guidance and supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Lead to provide assistance in: - • Behavioural monitoring with observations, data gathering and subsequent analysis. • Collection and presentation of behavioural data for weekly clinical team meeting. • Behavioural modification with writing and maintaining behavioural guidelines with support to the wider staff team in their implementation. • Neuropsychological assessments with the production and presentation of findings. • Supporting individual service users with weekly meetings and specific activities. • To maintain and provide those outcome measures identified within the agreed annual schedule. • To produce behavioural and emotional progress reports for Review Meetings and present these. • Group work (e.g. anger management and life skills). • Training and support of the wider staff team both on induction and written weekly tutorial sessions. • Liaison role between Clinical Lead, Clinical Team and wider staff team regarding understanding and implementation of behaviour management programme. • To undertake any other duties as may from time to time be specified by Brainkind, that are within the level and responsibility appropriate to the grade of the post.
