Counter Manager – Prestige Beauty Retail
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates, ensuring all sales, customer service, and operational targets are met.
This is an exceptional opportunity to act as the Chief Executive Officer of your own store—with full accountability for shaping and executing an agile business plan to attract and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, exceptional customer relationship management, and leadership of a high-performing team.
Ideal candidates are ambitious self-starters with a passion for business planning, coaching others to unlock their full potential, and forging a long-term career in prestige beauty.
Many of our field executives and senior managers began their careers at point-of-sale. This leadership role offers exposure to business planning, consumer insights, event management, customer relationship management, and frontline marketing, equipping you with the versatile skills to advance within the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Sales Associate team to meet and exceed targets in sales, customer service, and operations
- Create and execute an agile business plan, including strategic targeting, in-store events, customer relationship management, and performance benchmarking
- Build strong customer loyalty through tailored engagement strategies, ensuring exceptional service experiences
- Recruit, manage, and retain talent, fostering a culture of growth, development, and teamwork
- Maintain a naming presence as a thought leader in fostering team excellence and business success

Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrated success in retail sales with tangible results in metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and sales growth
- Established leadership—experience in team management, with a track record of influencing performance
- Business growth requirement—experience varies in line with business maturity and store size, but must include strategic planning and execution
- Proven ability to develop financial forecasts and optimise resource allocation
- Working knowledge of computerised systems, including email, Microsoft Excel (Excel proficiency to analyse, export, and manipulate data preferred)
- Adaptability, resilience, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-intensity retail environment
