About 1st Formations

At 1st Formations, we empower entrepreneurs to start, run, and grow their businesses with confidence.

Running a business shouldn’t be slowed down by company formation, statutory compliance, accounting, or payroll. From day one, these essentials should be seamless, reliable, and intelligently handled, freeing founders to focus on building and scaling.

We’re a leading UK provider of company formation and compliance services, building a modern, fully integrated technology platform that supports founders at every stage of their journey. Our platform brings together:

All in one cohesive experience. No stitched-together services. No legacy workflows disguised as software.

Just a single, scalable platform built for ambitious founders who want to move fast, stay compliant, and grow with confidence.

Why Join Us Now?

You’ll be joining a business with strong momentum, clear direction, and real opportunity for progression.

  • £18m annual revenue, including £9m ARR
  • Over 1 million companies formed
  • Certified B Corp and Carbon Neutral Business
  • Forecast to grow 5x–10x over the next three years

The Role

Are you part-way through your AAT or ACCA? You’re good at the accounting side, but honestly, what you really enjoy is helping others understand complex concepts—think the colleague who’s your Xero go-to when things get tricky. You’ve run the client onboarding sessions and written the guides nobody else got around to creating. You’ve begun to question whether a career in practice is truly what you want or if accounting is the best use of your strengths.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is your role.

We’re partnering with Xero to power our Accounting-as-a-Service division, and we need an in-house Cloud Accounting Specialist. You’ll shape our internal teams’ confidence and skills on Xero by building structured training, video content, and scalable documentation. You’ll receive dedicated training straight from Xero and then own the platform.

This isn’t a stepping stone—it’s a deliberate shift into training and enablement tailored to those who are passionate about teaching others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver structured Xero training for internal teams, including:
    • Onboarding Specialists
    • Customer Service
    • Customer Success
    • Retention
  • Create clear, accessible training materials tailored for non-accountants, such as:
    • Guides
    • Checklists
    • FAQs
    • Process documents
  • Script and produce training videos to support self-serve learning for the entire team
  • Act as the first point of contact internally for all Xero-related questions and issues
  • Build a library of scalable resources, reducing repetitive queries and fostering team independence
  • Identify recurring gaps or questions and proactively create content to address them
  • Deliver 1-2-1 Xero training sessions for premium or VIP clients, as needed
  • Monitor team usage patterns of Xero and pinpoint areas for improvement
  • Stay current with Xero product updates and incorporate relevant changes into training and documentation

What We’re Looking For

We aren’t looking for a fully qualified accountant, nor for someone who dreams of becoming one. Instead, we’re looking for someone already deep in their qualification (AAT, ACCA, or similar) who has:
