Cloud Security Analyst
Camberley, Surrey (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week)
Tech stack: AWS, IAM, Cloud Security, ISO27001, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config
Immersum is partnering with a leading insurance technology business to hire a Cloud Security Analyst to join their growing security team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in AWS and cloud security who is looking to take the next step in their career, working across cloud infrastructure, compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response.
The Role:
- Help design and implement secure AWS cloud environments
- Monitor and respond to security events using AWS security tooling
- Support IAM, RBAC, MFA, and access management across the business
- Carry out vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities
- Assist with security audits and compliance, including ISO27001
- Work alongside Engineering, Platform, Infrastructure, and Support teams to embed security best practices
- Support incident response and help investigate security events

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments
- Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Exposure to IAM, networking, and security controls
- Knowledge of AWS services including CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, EC2, S3, and VPC
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC 2, or CIS Benchmarks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to work across technical teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related
- AWS certifications are desirable but not essential
