Contract Job Title: Cloud Architect, Engineering, Defence & Security (DV clearance required) Contract Start Date: March 2026 Contract Length: 12 months, with potential extension Contract Classification: Inside IR25 Contract Location: London, Bristol or Manchester (Hybrid: 2/3 days in-office)

We’re seeking a senior Cloud Architect to drive innovation across cloud-native environments, ensuring seamless digital transformation through a focus on DevOps, Kubernetes, automation, and containers.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead clients through their cloud strategy, design, deployment, and continuous optimisation
- Develop scalable cloud platforms supporting modern microservices-based solutions
- Implement and improve cloud environments via infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation
- Collaborate across disciplines (cloud architects, application teams, performance/security specialists) to:
- Craft high-quality RFP responses
- Fuel business development initiatives
- Build enduring client and colleague relationships
Key Requirements
- UK Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance
- Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Expertise in:
- AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform / Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Containerisation (e.g., Docker, Rocket, Kubernetes/Openshift orchestration)
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, CDM)
- Hands-on CI/CD toolchain experience (continuous integration and delivery pipelines)
- Expertise in:

- Debugging & optimising cloud automation frameworks like:
- Linux/Windows system management with automation (Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet, PowerShell)
- Application deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub)
- Debugging & optimising cloud automation frameworks like:

Performance and security expertise:
- Experience defining functional and non-functional cloud architecture requirements
- Exposure to security/performance testing methodologies
Experience
- Demonstrated ability guiding clients through cross-departmental transformation programs
- Practical implementation of agile cloud solutions in complex environments
- Experience articulating thought leadership across cloud architecture topics
