Job Description
We know great talent comes in many forms - including people returning from a career break. If you’re looking for part-time hours, flexible working, or a supportive transition back into your career, we’d love to explore how we can make this role work for you. Are you passionate about developing a career in technology? Does the idea of working for different clients on complex business-critical IT projects excite you? If yes, then read on!
At Credera, we define, design, implement and migrate to public, private and hybrid Cloud for our clients. We help identify and avoid common misconceptions and maximize the benefits of a cloud transformation programme. If the idea of developing pragmatic strategies and approaches to Cloud adoption energises you then you are in good company.
Here’s what you will do
Our Cloud Architects identify, design and implement the tools clients need to best host their IT infrastructure and deliver value. Combining delivery best practices with the latest technologies, we help solve complex business challenges. Typically, our technical cloud work contains significant elements of defining, designing and building cloud architectures, security solutions and cloud platforms as well as having a solid understanding of infrastructure and on-prem technologies.
For our technical consultants, we expect a significant level of hands-on experience with cloud / infrastructure related technologies and a desire to maintain a balance between technical and business skills as they grow their careers within the firm.
Based out of any of our UK offices, this is a permanent role within our Cloud Function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite - either at client site (as required) or in your local Credera office (London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle). We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. We are also open to conversations around flexible or part-time arrangements.
Responsibilities

- Develop the business case and strategy for AWS Cloud solutions
- Plan and execute complex Cloud Migrations
- Build a deep understanding of a client’s business and cloud maturity, determining the appropriate criteria for successful use of the cloud and an approach for achieving it
- Design complex Cloud Architectures for our clients

- Cloud engineering and DevOps transformation
- Set up teams with the right skill-sets, tools and practices to get the best out of cloud technology
- Work with the Technical team at Credera to develop the maturity of our Cloud knowledge and collateral
- Staying up to date through further learning, attendance at events and monitoring market trends and developments
- Act in Credera's best interests and demonstrate the company’s values of: Integrity, Intelligence, Personal Touch, Tenacity and Pragmatism.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
