AWS Cloud Architect - £110,000 - Hybrid (Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, London)
We're looking for a Principal AWS Cloud Architect to help organisations navigate complex cloud transformation journeys, from strategy and architecture through to implementation and adoption.
This role sits at the intersection of technology leadership and client engagement. You'll work with senior business and technology stakeholders to solve complex challenges, design future-state cloud platforms, and help teams embrace modern engineering practices.
If you enjoy influencing technical direction, mentoring teams, and delivering meaningful transformation using AWS, this could be an excellent opportunity.

- Work across multiple initiatives, providing architectural leadership on topics including cloud adoption, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, resilience, security, governance, and operational excellence.
- Lead solution design.
- Contribute to technical strategy.
- Support delivery teams.
- Act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of major transformation programmes.
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience leading enterprise cloud transformation programmes.
- Deep expertise designing solutions within AWS environments.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing technology decisions.
- A strong understanding of modern engineering principles, cloud operating models, and platform delivery.
- A track record of helping organisations improve scalability, security, efficiency, and operational performance through cloud adoption.
