Cloud & Data Architect
Cloud & Data Architecture Consultant – GCP, Oracle, & Databricks
The Cloud & Data Architecture Consultant will lead enterprise-scale cloud, data, and finance transformation initiatives at Capgemini. The ideal candidate will combine bilingual expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Databricks-based data platforms, ensuring seamless alignment between business needs and scalable technology solutions.
Hybrid Working Arrangement
The role requires a blend of Company offices, client sites, and homeworking, although full remote work (100%) will not be possible.
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in defining and executing enterprise-scale cloud, data, and financial transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise target-state architecture for cloud, data, and finance transformation programs.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance GCP-based solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Assess finance and EPM landscapes, providing tooling recommendations based on business requirements, scalability, and future strategy.
- Design and govern Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions for seamless enterprise and third-party integration.
- Lead Databricks-based modern data platform design and implementation to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
- Develop enterprise data architecture standards, enabling consistency, scalability, and governance.
- Direct cloud migration and modernisation, including workload assessment and architecture planning.
- Collaborate with finance and technology stakeholders to drive architectural decisions and align with transformation goals.
- Establish architecture governance, best practices, security frameworks, and design principles.
- Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and technical due diligence for new initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance on data management, integration, cloud adoption, and enterprise modernisation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discussions, and executive presentations.
- Mentor delivery teams in implementing approved architecture solutions.

Your Skills & Expertise
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate proficiency in the following:
Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in GCP architecture, with hands-on experience in cloud-native design, modernisation, and migration.
- Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise integration architecture.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Databricks, data lakehouse architecture, and modern data engineering principles.
- Strong background in enterprise data architecture, data modelling, governance, and integration frameworks.
- Experience in cloud migration, application modernisation, and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in solution architecture methodologies, security, scalability, and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
Industry & Functional Experience
- Experience in Finance Transformation and enterprise data transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud and data solutions.
Soft Skills & Leadership
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven track record of leading architecture workshops and influencing decision-makers.
- Experience working across distributed, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Solid governance, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.

Industry Recognition
- GCP, Oracle, Databricks, or relevant cloud certifications.
- Experience in consulting environments or leading enterprise architectural engagements.
Person Specification (Must-Have Qualifications)
- Deep GCP expertise (architecture, modernisation, governance).
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise EPM experience.
- Databricks and modern data platform knowledge.
- Enterprise financial and EPM transformation portfolio.
- Finance and cloud transformation advisory experience.
