About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team supporting and developing our global platforms. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of our on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure. As part of the On-Premise and Cloud Operations team, your responsibilities will include supporting day-to-day operations, resolving incidents swiftly, and implementing optimization strategies across our platforms.
This team plays a vital role within the wider IT Engineering function, ensuring high service availability and continuous improvement of our systems. You will be expected to support operational delivery, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to automation and tooling enhancements. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer, adaptable to various technologies, and eager to deepen their expertise in specific areas such as cloud computing, virtualization, or security.

Qualifications
- Preferred experience using Citrix XenServer, Virtual Apps, and Desktops.
- Proven experience with Identity and Access technologies, such as Okta and Entra ID.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as M365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience using Exchange Server/Online and Cisco Email Security Appliances (ESA) is desirable.
- Commercial experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Understanding of Ivanti User Workspace Manager (UWM).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk.
- Experience in scripting with PowerShell is preferred.
- Knowledge of building and managing access and monitoring technologies, such as Net2 and CCTV systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, manage, and monitor highly available Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and support mail services, including Exchange and email security appliances (ESA), ensuring seamless communication.
- Oversee identity and access management using Okta and Entra ID, maintaining security standards and user access controls.
- Optimize the Microsoft 365 environment to meet business needs, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the infrastructure, driving resolutions efficiently.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage Group Policy objects and personalization settings to ensure consistent user environments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures, sharing knowledge with team members.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to automation, tooling, and process enhancements.
