This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cloud and Hosting team at Warwick and help us build the future of both on premise infrastructure and Cloud-hosted infrastructure. You’ll be joining a high performing team with deep technical experience in current hosting technologies.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about cloud technologies, with strong hands-on experience designing, implementing and supporting services in Microsoft Azure within a large and complex enterprise environment.
- Hold relevant Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-305) or be able to demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
- Flexible, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and ways of working.
- Be experienced in infrastructure automation, with strong PowerShell skills and a track record of using automation to improve efficiency, consistency and service quality. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches, including Terraform and/or Bicep, for the deployment and management of Azure resources is highly desirable.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills and a customer-focused approach, building effective relationships and delivering solutions that meet business needs.
- Possess a strong understanding of Azure networking services and concepts, including Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Private Endpoints, DNS, ExpressRoute, VPNs, routing and hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments. Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies would also be advantageous.
- Have experience of working within hybrid cloud environments that integrate Azure with on-premises infrastructure.
- Have experience with Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other cloud automation and CI/CD tooling.

Desirable
- Experience of VMware technologies within a complex enterprise environment, including an understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration and enterprise hosting platforms.
