AWS Cloud DevSecOps Engineer
Stratford, London (Hybrid - 3 days per week)
£450 per day | Outside IR35
Initial 6 Month Contract | Immediate Start
TechNET IT are partnering with a global technology consultancy supporting a major UK FS organisation on a large-scale AWS cloud security transformation.
We're looking for an experienced AWS Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to join a Cloud Security Operations team responsible for protecting and supporting enterprise AWS platforms.
This isn't a purely project-based DevSecOps position. You'll play a key role in day-to-day cloud security operations, production support, vulnerability remediation and automation across a large AWS estate.
The Role
Working within an established Cloud Security Operations function, you'll investigate and remediate security findings, support production AWS environments and build automation to improve operational efficiency.
You'll take ownership of cloud security incidents from identification through to remediation while working closely with Security, Infrastructure and Engineering teams to improve the overall security posture of the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
