Amazon Connect Developer

Remote | 6 Month Contract | Up to £425/day Inside IR35

We're supporting a large-scale organisation undergoing a significant contact centre transformation and are looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Developer to join the team.

This role will play a key part in designing, implementing and enhancing cloud-based contact centre solutions, helping shape the future customer experience across voice, chat and digital channels.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the design, configuration and ongoing development of Amazon Connect solutions, working closely with stakeholders across technology, operations and the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable Amazon Connect solutions
  • Building and maintaining contact flows, IVRs, routing profiles and agent hierarchies
  • Developing automation and integrations using AWS services
  • Supporting platform migrations from legacy contact centre technologies
  • Integrating Amazon Connect with CRM, ticketing and workforce management platforms
  • Delivering reporting and analytics solutions across the contact centre environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong commercial experience with Amazon Connect
  • Experience designing contact flows, IVRs and routing strategies
  • Good knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, CloudWatch and DynamoDB
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Strong understanding of contact centre operations and customer journey design
  • Experience integrating Amazon Connect with third-party platforms and APIs
  • Knowledge of Amazon Lex, Polly or AI-enabled customer engagement solutions would be beneficial
