Join our Cloud Engineering team in either our Malvern or Farnborough site, working with cutting-edge technology alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering secure, scalable, and mission-critical cloud solutions across public, private, or hybrid environments, supporting critical operations and next-generation services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and automate cloud-based solutions to meet business and application demands
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, cost optimisation, and security compliance
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
  • Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows to enhance efficiency and minimise manual intervention
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application deployments

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions
  • Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS services

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Engineering
    • Or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Key Details

  • Working hours: 37 hours per week
  • Location: Malvern or Farnborough site
  • Presence requirement: Minimum average of three days per week on-site
  • Security clearance: Applicants must be eligible for SC clearance (minimum requirement)
