Join our Cloud Engineering team in either our Malvern or Farnborough site, working with cutting-edge technology alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering secure, scalable, and mission-critical cloud solutions across public, private, or hybrid environments, supporting critical operations and next-generation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and automate cloud-based solutions to meet business and application demands
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, cost optimisation, and security compliance
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows to enhance efficiency and minimise manual intervention
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application deployments

Essential Experience
- Previous experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions
- Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Key Details
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Location: Malvern or Farnborough site
- Presence requirement: Minimum average of three days per week on-site
- Security clearance: Applicants must be eligible for SC clearance (minimum requirement)
