Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their growing technology team during an exciting period of infrastructure modernisation. This is an opportunity to work across AWS and Azure cloud platforms, security, automation, networking, monitoring, and operational improvement while helping shape the future direction of a business-critical technology estate.

Take ownership of identifying and resolving complex technical challenges. Work closely with technical specialists and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful improvements. Influence infrastructure strategy and contribute to technology roadmaps. Strengthen security controls and help maintain a robust operational environment. Support cloud cost optimisation initiatives and ensure technology investments deliver maximum value. Continuously explore new technologies, tools, and approaches that can improve the overall platform.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on engineering with strategic thinking and continuous improvement.

About You You'll likely already have experience working within cloud-focused infrastructure environments and enjoy tackling complex technical problems.

You'll have the opportunity to build upon your experience with: AWS cloud services and infrastructure. Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. Infrastructure design, implementation, and support. Cloud security best practices. Cloud networking, VPNs, connectivity, and network troubleshooting. Automation and operational efficiency initiatives. Monitoring and observability platforms. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across multiple platforms. Collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

Our Wishlist We're interested in hearing from people who bring a combination of the following: Commercial experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure environments across AWS and Azure. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience working within modern infrastructure and cloud platform environments. Experience supporting networking and connectivity across cloud environments. Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational performance tooling. The ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to different audiences. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement. A passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies. Relevant AWS and Azure certifications would be highly advantageous.

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial, although not essential: PowerShell VMware Linux CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana, or similar monitoring platforms
