Cloud Engineer
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services that support business applications and operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while ensuring system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Provisioning and configuring cloud resources
- Automating infrastructure deployment
- Monitoring cloud environments
- Managing networking and storage services
- Implementing security controls
- Supporting backup and disaster recovery strategies
The Cloud Engineer will:
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
- Optimize cloud performance
- Maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and collaboration skills are essential to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of cloud platforms and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud security principles.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
- Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the capacity to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and cloud technology innovation.
