At SettleParadigm, we look after more than 30,000 homes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties. Our purpose is simple: safe homes, good services and neighbourhoods people feel proud to live in. Through our merger, we’ve brought together shared values, skills and ambition, helping us build more affordable homes and make an even bigger difference in the communities we serve.
As part of this journey, our IT team plays a vital role in keeping our systems secure, reliable and ready for the future. We’re now looking for a Cloud & Migration Engineer to support one of the most important pieces of our transformation work: the migration and integration of our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
About The Role
This is a hands-on technical role at the heart of our merger and integration programme. As a Cloud & Migration Engineer, you’ll help shape and deliver our approach to Microsoft 365 and Azure migration, from discovery and due diligence through to cutover, stabilisation and post-migration support.
You’ll assess source and target environments, define migration waves, map dependencies, support identity and collaboration decisions, and help ensure our cloud services remain stable, secure and scalable throughout the transition. You’ll also contribute to solution design, transitional architecture and technical planning across identity, endpoint, collaboration and cloud platforms.
If you enjoy complex technical problem-solving, thrive in change programmes and want to play a key role in a major organisational migration, this role offers a unique opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project & Technical Delivery
- Configure, administer and optimise Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Azure
- Lead or support environment discovery to inform migration scope and dependencies
- Contribute to target-state architecture for Microsoft 365, Azure, identity and endpoint services
- Support planning and delivery of Microsoft 365 and Azure migration activities
- Develop migration wave plans, sequencing, pilots and cutover approaches
- Assist with tenant consolidation, identity matching, device transition and coexistence
- Contribute to cloud solution design and transitional architecture
- Ensure systems are optimised for performance, reliability and security
- Support backup, rollback, disaster recovery and service continuity
- Implement, configure and support network systems

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
