Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (+ benefits)

Skills: AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Red Hat, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes

We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Platform Consultant to join a growing technical consultancy delivering secure cloud and infrastructure solutions across customer environments.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both design and implementation. You will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to design, build and support cloud platforms, automation frameworks and modern infrastructure environments.

The role would suit an experienced Cloud / Platform / Infrastructure Engineer who is looking to move further towards architecture, while remaining technically hands-on.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting cloud implementation projects across AWS and Azure
  • Working with Red Hat Linux and OpenShift cluster environments
  • Building and automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
  • Supporting containerised platforms using Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Producing technical designs, documentation and architecture artefacts
  • Working with customers to understand requirements and shape practical solutions
  • Building out architecture frameworks and reusable delivery approaches
  • Supporting test, development and internal platform environments
  • Troubleshooting cloud, Linux, container and automation issues
  • Working across 1-2 customer projects at a time

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
