Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS DevOps)

Infrastructure Specialist – AWS DevOps

Location: Remote (UK) Contract: 6 Months

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist – AWS DevOps to design, deploy, and support Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager on AWS.

You'll play a key role in building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, ALB, Route 53, EBS, S3)
  • Deploy, configure, and administer Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager
  • Manage Linux servers (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu)
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Shell scripting
  • Implement AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Groups)
  • Monitor and optimize platforms using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config
  • Integrate Nexus with CI/CD tools including:
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI
    • Azure DevOps
