About the Role
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) SMB team is seeking a Cloud Sales Representative (CSR) to join a dynamic team, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will support a defined territory, identifying, developing, and closing net new cloud opportunities to help customers transition to and scale in AWS.
As a Cloud Sales Rep (CSR) EMEA, you will:
- Drive growth by delivering end-to-end solutions tailored to Founders, CxOs, and Boards of Directors.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Solution Architecture, and Partners to execute multi-touch go-to-market strategies.
- Work with businesses building next-generation products that transform daily lives globally—be at the centre of these impactful developments.
- Carry a quota, ensuring full-cycle responsibility from initial engagement to deal closing.

This is a high-energy, quota-carrying role requiring strong sales and technical acumen. You’ll leverage your expertise to engage customers, align solutions with their objectives, and accelerate their success in the AWS cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Exceed revenue targets within a defined geographic territory.
- Develop and execute a holistic account/territory plan, managing multiple accounts in parallel.
- Articulate compelling value propositions of AWS services.
- Drive customer adoption at scale.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Partner with external collaborators to extend market reach and adoption.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in technology-related sales, marketing, or business development.
- Track record of building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline aimed at revenue growth, adoption, and market growth.
- Strong ability to engage and influence executive-level decision-makers (business and technical leaders).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, finance, account management).
- Proficiency in communication, sales technique, and negotiation.
- Native fluency in German with ability to read, write, and speak.

Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in French (spoken, written, and read).
- Solution-selling methodologies experience or hands-on experience architecting/operating AWS-powered solutions.
- Deals inventory selling experience, especially across mid-market and growth-stage companies without legacy infrastructure constraints.
