Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems — and we need practitioners who understand how cloud environments actually fail. As a Cloud Security Analyst, you'll bring your real-world experience to help train and evaluate frontier AI models on cloud security scenarios.
This isn't a theoretical role. We're looking for people who have seen misconfigurations cause incidents, who understand why a single IAM mistake can cascade into a full breach, and who can reason clearly about risk in complex cloud environments.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, failure patterns, and real-world impact
- Review and evaluate IAM configurations, networking setups, storage policies, and container security issues
- Classify security gaps and misconfigurations based on severity, blast radius, and business exposure
- Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning to ensure it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly shapes how AI understands and responds to cloud security challenges

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
