Cloud Security Analyst

Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

Cloud breaches don’t happen in textbooks—they happen in production. At Alignerr, we partner with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI security systems, and we need practitioners who’ve seen how cloud environments actually fail.

If you’ve worked hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure and understand the real-world impact of misconfigurations, IAM sprawl, or exposed storage buckets, your expertise can directly shape how AI reasons about cloud security. This is a rare opportunity to translate your field knowledge into frontier AI development—on your own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, misconfigurations, and failure patterns
  • Review IAM policies, network configurations, storage permissions, and container security setups for real-world vulnerabilities
  • Classify security gaps and cloud-related failures based on blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
  • Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning to ensure it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
  • Contribute structured, expert-level feedback that directly improves AI security evaluation systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
