Cloud Security Auditor
Cloud Security Audit AVP – Internal Audit Function (UK Bank)
The team provides independent cyber security assurance to executive management and the Board, covering governance, risk management, and control effectiveness across complex cloud environments.
The Role
- Planning and executing end-to-end audits across AWS and Azure environments, including:
- Identity and access management (IAM)
- Network security
- Vulnerability management
- Incident response
- Conducting risk and control assessments across cloud and hybrid settings, presenting findings to senior stakeholders (up to Board level).
- Developing actionable audit observations and recommendations to strengthen control frameworks across the business.

Required Skillset
- Hands-on audit or cyber security assurance experience, with a track record of testing controls (not just advisory).
- Deep technical knowledge of:
- AWS and Azure
- Misconfigurations, container security (Kubernetes/Docker), and cloud storage
- Familiarity with cyber security frameworks such as:
- NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance environments.
- A relevant professional qualification:
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
