Role: Cloud Security Engineer
Contract: Long-Term Contract
Location: Knutsford, UK (Hybrid, x3 days in a week)
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves building secure cloud-native solutions, automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep), and embedding security into CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep) and automate cloud deployments.
- Implement cloud security controls, IAM, networking, encryption, and compliance best practices.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and support DevSecOps initiatives.
- Monitor cloud environments using SIEM and cloud security tools (e.g., Wiz, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Security Command Center).
- Secure container platforms including Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), and cloud-native workloads.

Required Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud security.
- Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of IAM, networking, RBAC, KMS, cloud governance, SIEM, and security frameworks.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Java.
- Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are highly desirable.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is a plus.
