Cloud Solution Engineer
Microsoft, Cloud, Data & AI Technologies
Location: UK | Hybrid / Remote
Company: Weaver Innovate
Build practical cloud, data and software solutions that create real impact.
Weaver Innovate is growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on Cloud Solution Engineer to help design and deliver modern technology solutions for our clients. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys solving business problems through a blend of Microsoft cloud, software engineering, data, automation and emerging technologies.
About Weaver Innovate
Weaver Innovate is a technology and product development consultancy specialising in Azure-centric cloud, data and AI solutions. We partner with organisations to modernise operations, automate business processes and develop innovative digital products across web, mobile and cloud platforms.
Our work spans operational technology, transport, infrastructure, data analytics, artificial intelligence and emerging Web3 technologies. As we continue to grow, this role will play an important part in delivering high-quality client solutions while contributing to the next phase of our journey.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role for a developer and solution focused engineer who enjoys working across a broad technology landscape and directly with clients. You’ll work primarily across the Microsoft ecosystem while contributing to wider software engineering and product development initiatives.
Projects will range from Power Platform applications and business process automation through to Azure-native cloud solutions, data platforms, analytics, AI, modern web applications and emerging Web3 products.
You’ll initially support a major operational transformation programme for a professional services client, while also contributing to projects across transport, infrastructure and digital product development. This role is not about specialising in one narrow technology area. It is about applying the right combination of cloud, data, AI and software engineering skills to deliver practical, scalable solutions that create measurable value. You will need to take ownership of your work, deliver to a high standard and represent Weaver professionally when interacting with clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
