Hackajob is collaborating with Google to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.

The Google Cloud Universal Ledger (GCUL) GTM team leads the early-stage rollout of our blockchain built for financial services. We aim to modernize global financial systems by providing a compliant, 24/7, programmable network that replaces inefficient legacy rails to boost capital efficiency, unlock faster cross-border payments, and power agentic finance workflows.

As a senior-level "playmaker," you will serve as the engine for GCUL adoption, identifying and supercharging opportunities within the financial services Industry. Operating under a specialist-led sales model, your objective is to land initial transacting parties using three currencies to generate network density. You will translate your vision into "first-of-a-kind" agreements, leveraging "market makers" to pull financial ecosystems onto our platform. By providing a "credibly neutral" infrastructure, you will help institutions streamline multi-currency transfers without the compliance issues of public chains, establishing GCUL as the global standard for financial interoperability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
