We are looking for a Membership Sales Executive to support us develop and grow our CLUB Membership Offering.
Our Mashie Club Membership is our Flagship product and gives members access to private events at exclusive golf clubs, complimentary fourballs, preferential rates at partner clubs, networking opportunities + much more.
The successful applicant will be responsible for taking new membership leads through a full sales process to conversion alongside enhancing the day-to-day experience of all our club members and looking after the annual renewal process. To be successful in this role, you should have sales experience, good communication/social skills, a passion for golf and preferably a strong working knowledge of the golf industry.
This role will require travel and it is important that all applicants can drive and live in or around the home counties - (Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London or within daily commuting distance from Northleach, Gloucestershire)
JOB TITLE: MEMBERSHIP EXECUTIVE
DIRECT REPORT: MEMBERSHIP MANAGER
LOCATION: Home Counties / Remote - Hybrid - with days in Northleach, Glos required
SALARY: UP to £25,000 + COMMISSION (OTE £30,000+)
HOURS: 9am-5.30pm / MON-FRI
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
This role is varied and split into the following key areas:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Work closely with the Marketing team to generate leads and support campaign activity
- Partner with the wider Membership team and other internal channels to maximise conversion opportunities
- Represent Mashie Golf at networking events, golf days, and corporate hospitality opportunities to win new business

MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT
Supporting the Membership Team, you will:
- Regularly reach out to, and communicate with Mashie Club Members
- Build meaningful relationships with Mashie Club Members
- Assist the Events team with Promoting upcoming Events & Trips to Club Members
- Arrange games of golf and/or social meetings with Club Members
- Encourage Club Members to introduce new members.
- Encourage Club Members to become Partners & Sponsors of Mashie Golf
- Work closely with Mashie Events team to maximise opportunities.
- Attend Mashie Events and assist with the running of them.
- Focus on, and track both key members, & disengaged members
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Supporting the Membership Team, you will:
- Assist in the membership communication & the retention strategy
- Manage 100 Club Membership annual renewals
- Management of invoicing and Direct Debit payments associated with renewals
- Management of Membership Credit
- Keeping the Mashie Members App & Control panel up to date
- Accurately recording the status of Monthly renewals on the Business CRM
- Tracking Renewals payments and chasing accordingly
- Work with the membership director to increase the retention of members.
- Report monthly on the financials of Mashie Club Membership Renewals

EVENTS EXECUTION:
- Attending MASHIE events (UK and potentially international) & staying overnight if required
- Assisting with event set up and general running of the day
- Providing additional support to other members of the team where required
WHAT YOU'VE GOT
- A passion for golf and working in the industry.
- You will have commercial acumen.
- You will be socially outgoing and confident
- You will have a passion for the game of golf
- Ideally, you will have experience of working in a sales environment
- Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with members and key stake holders
- Ability to be analytical, with a desire to improve both personal and business processes.
- You like taking responsibility and can work to timelines.
- High load capacity, outstanding commitment and are extremely organised.
- You are an enthusiastic self-motivated person, have a problem-solving mind
- Good communication/presentation skills and can work efficiently alone and within a team.
- Be self-motivated, with good time management skills.
- Confident in written and telephone communications
- Have a full, clean driving licence and own transport.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Monthly commission will be put in place based on the following:
- New Club Membership Sales
- Membership Renewal/Retention Success
