Cluster Deputy Manager

Cluster Deputy Manager – Pebbles Care

Pebbles Care is looking for a Cluster Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team. The Cluster Deputy Manager will support the Registered Manager and the existing team, ensuring that our young people receive the best quality care.

As a new team member, you could contribute to—and be part of—this while also benefiting from the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and thriving organisation.

About the Role

Responsibilities

This role is ideally suited to someone with two years of experience in children’s residential care who is ready to enhance their leadership skills within a progressive and collaborative environment.

As Cluster Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Initially support the Registered Manager in one home (due to maternity leave), but this role will evolve into a cluster-wide position.
  • Support the Registered Manager in organising and leading a team of Residential Support Workers.
    • Lead the team as a role model, planning shifts and managing the rota.
    • Work with your team to promote therapeutic parenting principles for children and young people.
  • Offer ongoing support, share knowledge, and supervise team members to ensure their daily duties are fulfilled effectively.
  • Foster learning and development, motivating the team to continuously improve best practices in care.
  • Assist with training, health and safety, safer recruitment, HR, and administrative duties on behalf of the Registered Manager.
  • Build strong relationships with the team, work closely with families and communities, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure the ongoing welfare and development of young people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
