The Cumberland

What You’ll Be Doing

As Cluster M&E & Groups Executive, you will play a vital role in driving our Meetings & Events (M&E) and group business initiatives across our hotels. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue through exceptional event planning and execution while building strong relationships with clients to ensure a seamless and memorable experience. You will collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring that every event reflects our commitment to warm, exceptional hospitality.

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process for M&E bookings, from initial inquiries to final execution, working closely with sales and operations teams to deliver outstanding results. Your insights and market knowledge will help identify trends and opportunities for growth, while your organizational skills will ensure that all details are handled meticulously.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in M&E sales or event management, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively to meet client needs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service and a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide insights to drive business growth
  • A collaborative mindset, comfortable working across teams to achieve common goals
