About the Role

As a Cluster Operations Manager for our Unite Students or Hello Student brand, you will take ownership of a group of properties, driving operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and resident satisfaction.

Your Impact & Responsibilities
No two days are the same, but you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading operational and financial performance across a multi-property cluster, ensuring consistency and high standards
- Ensuring day-to-day financial health, supporting occupancy targets, revenue growth, and cost control to deliver cluster profitability
- Mentoring and empowering teams to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
- Maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence—including health & safety standards
- Delivering an exceptional resident experience (issue resolution, community building, and inclusivity)
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to uphold building standards and resolve issues promptly
- Building partnerships with universities, suppliers, and contractors to drive operational success
- Acting as a primary escalation point for operational issues and participating in the Duty Manager rota where required
- Using data insights (feedback, performance metrics) to identify opportunities for growth in efficiency and resident satisfaction

Who You Are
Experience doesn’t have to fit a template—what matters is your mindset and drive. We look for team players who:
- Bring operational leadership experience from sectors like property, hospitality, facilities management, or customer-facing roles
- Have multi-site management and team leadership experience
- Can balance priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders
- Are results-driven, proactive problem-solvers
