A Bit About What You Will Do...
The Cluster Sales Director will maximise all relevant sales opportunities across assigned segments within the Heathrow cluster of hotels, with senior-level ownership for proactively building, managing and converting a robust Groups, Meetings and Events pipeline, by working with the different brands, Arora central sales team, key agents, corporate clients.
- Regular focus on room hires, food and beverage and associated bedroom targets per month.
- Take senior ownership of a proactive Groups, Meetings and Events sales pipeline, identifying, qualifying and progressing new business opportunities to support cluster revenue targets.
- Maintain clear pipeline visibility through regular forecasting, activity tracking and conversion reporting for senior commercial review.
- Assist in preparation of annual sales & marketing budgets.
- Ensure that all MICE FAM trips work towards a ROI concept.
- Draw up action plans to work towards MICE budget.
- Ensuring business is strategically placed in the most appropriate property to maximise overall revenue and profitability for the group.
- Develop, nurture and understand the MICE community from both the agents and direct corporate.
- Proactively target senior-level decision makers, event agencies, corporate bookers and association contacts to generate new enquiries and long-term group and event partnerships.
- Regular face to face client appointments both in house and external.
- Regular follow up with existing MICE bookers for future business.
- Ensuring we are best positioned on any of key MICE platforms.

More About You...
- Previous experience in Large scale MICE sales within hotels, event agencies or corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of the London MICE Market including key agencies, corporate bookers and market trends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Very good at multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure.
- Excellent communicator with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- 4-star hotel experience in a similar role a real advantage.
