The portfolio includes six hotels across four distinct brands; ibis, ibis Styles, Mercure and Novotel, offering a total of 1,146 guest rooms.The cluster also features 26 versatile meeting and event spaces, accommodating up to 100 delegates, alongside 6 diverse food and beverage outlets, providing excellent opportunities to host meetings, events, and corporate gatherings.Job DescriptionAs a Cluster Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue across the hotel cluster by selling MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) and group business to corporate clients, agencies and associations.You will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets across multiple market segments including corporate groups, sports, and entertainment.Key Responsibilities:Manage and develop a portfolio of existing and new accounts across corporate, agency, sports, and entertainment segments.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue across MICE and group business.Proactively identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities through networking, outreach and market research.Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.Prepare and present professional proposals, contracts and pricing agreements.Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and site inspections to maximise conversion and account growth.Maintain strong pre- and post-event communication to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.Support the MICE & Groups Sales Team during peak periods with enquiry handling and conversion.Organise and support marketing initiatives, including Fam trips, site inspections, ALL loyalty events, trade shows, and client networking events.Represent the hotel cluster at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions to increase brand visibility.Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market developments to identify new opportunities.Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines, ensuring all client interactions are logged.Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.Achieve or exceed individual and team revenue targets, conversion rates, and client satisfaction goals.Support ad-hoc sales initiatives and projects as required by the Cluster Sales Manager.QualificationsMinimum 2 years’ experience in a role related to MICE or Corporates in the hotel industry – MICE PreferentialExcellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills - A strong team playerExcellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.Experience in the following systems desirable: Opera Cloud, Delphi FDC/Back You and Lanyon/CventFluent in English - spoken & written.Additional InformationCompetitive salaryAttractive Bonus scheme28 days paid holiday increasing with serviceAccess to Accor Hotels UK discounts & benefits.Automatic enrolment into a workplace pension scheme.Access to exclusive high street & lifestyle offers for you and family.Career opportunities within the UK, Europe & Internationally.And Lots moreIn line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.Documentation is required at interview stage (for EU Nationals share code requested to check EU Settled/Pre-Settled statusJoin our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of our MICE and business groups sales division.
