Lifestyle Sales Manager – Residences and Entertainment
About the Role
We're searching for a Lifestyle Sales Manager to drive revenue across premium segments—including residences, suites, and entertainment—for two innovative luxury hotels under the Axiom Hospitality brand: Middle Eight and The Guardsman.
Middle Eight, an 180-room luxury lifestyle hotel in Covent Garden, offers a holistic guest experience that evolves throughout the day—fiddle spaces that engage communities and foster belonging. Meanwhile, The Guardsman, a 59-room luxury hotel in St. James’s, boasts a home-from-home ambiance with a relaxed yet stylish British charm, complemented by a club-like atmosphere and traditional quirkiness.
This role will blending commercial acumen with a passionate understanding of lifestyle hospitality. You’ll develop strategic partnerships, capitalise on high-value sales opportunities, and position both brands as must-visit destinations for indulgent experience-led stays.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for residences, suites, and entertainment segments
- Drive revenue growth through proactive client outreach, account-driven sales activity, and new business generation
- Identify entertainment industry opportunities (production companies, talent agencies, promoters, touring actors)
- Optimise occupancy rates and premium pricing across residue and suite inventory
Account Management & Partnership Building
- Cultivate deep relationships with high-value clients, agencies and bookers in the lifestyle and entertainment sectors
- Serve as the primary contact for offering clients, ensuring repeat business and loyalty
- Develop strategic partnerships that boost brand visibility and generate incremental sales
- Maintain an extensive network within relevant industries, aligning with the hotels’ positioning
Commercial & Revenue-Driven Execution
- Negotiate rates and contracts in line with hotel pricing strategy and commercial guidelines
- Collaborate with Revenue and Reservations teams to optimise pricing, availability, and yield
- Identify upsell opportunities—bedrooms, events spaces, enhanced packages (F&B/retail/leisure services)
- Align and execute a commercial sales strategy that delivers against hotel objectives
Business Development
- Proactively source and convert new business opportunities aligned with both hotels' premium positioning
- Engage with industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance brand presence
- Identify emerging trends within lifestyle hospitality and entertainment sectors
- Grow pan-British / luxury retail deals, exploring vendor F&B partnerships

Cross-Team Alignment & Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to sync short-term sales goals with broader business priorities
- Partner in campaign, promotion and package development to target premium guests
- Ensure seamless booking handover with reservations and F&B sales teams, delivering flawless client experience
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activity within luxury hospitality, tracking market trends affecting demand and pricing
- Meet approved KPIs while leveraging predictive analytics to optimise sales mix and revenue strategy
- Track performance against targets via CRM system (Monday.com) and prepare compelling commercial reports
- Prepare weekly briefs, contributing to senior leadership decision-making
Essential Qualifications
Required
✔ 2+ years’ experience in hospitality sales, hotels, or customer-facing commercial roles ✔ Demonstrated ability to proactively generate new business, building long-term client relationships ✔ Clear, confident negotiation, communication and presentation skills ✔ Proven ability to identify and pursue commercial opportunities ✔ Competence in CRM systems and Excel, with data-driven decision-making experience
Desirable
£ £ 3+ years in a sales leadership role, preferably within hospitality or premium resort segments £ £ Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, management, or related field (MBA preferred) £ £ Wit evidenced repositioning/launch success in high-end properties £ £ Pre-established industry contacts in travel, corporate or luxury event planning
