I'm currently supporting a growing small molecule specialty pharmaceutical company with the appointment of a CMC Lead into a newly created, highly influential position.

The Role

You'll take end-to-end ownership of CMC programmes across a portfolio of specialty pharmaceutical products, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and in line with regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading pharmaceutical development activities, including formulation, process development and analytical method development through to GMP readiness.
  • Owning technology transfers from CDMO selection and qualification through validation, implementation and regulatory approval.
  • Developing CMC strategies in collaboration with Regulatory, Quality and Commercial teams.
  • Managing external CDMOs and technical partners, building strong relationships while ensuring technical excellence, quality and delivery.
  • Driving manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency, product quality and supply reliability.
  • Providing technical input into regulatory submissions, CMC documentation and lifecycle management activities.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, risks and governance across multiple development programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
