Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – United Media

About Us

United Media (https://www.united-media.com/) specialises in building large-scale industry media and conference products across sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, and more. We’ve organically launched six companies and acquired one to date.

Your Responsibilities

These may evolve over time, but your core focus will be:

  • Team Leadership

    • Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
    • Set clear goals, expectations, and evaluate performance regularly.
    • Recruit and onboard team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives.

  • Campaign Management

    • Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across:
      • Email marketing
      • Social media
      • Website & content strategy
  • Strategic Planning

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

What We Expect from You

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Has +10 years of experience with exceptional performance in the industry.
  • Demonstrates a relentless drive to be the best at their craft.
  • Exhibits an unmatched work ethic with a high urgency mentality.
  • Takes ownership of projects/progress and follows through on commitments.
  • Is passionate about people, skilled in building and nurturing relationships.
  • Is an excellent communicator—both verbally and in writing.
  • Is highly organised, agile, and excels at prioritising tasks.
