CMS Analyst (Clio Operate) – Fixed-Term Contract

Fixed-term contract for the duration of Programme Drive

The Opportunity

Lawfront is a fast-growing, private equity (PE)-backed group of seven leading law firms, consolidating the group onto a single, modern technology stack. Clio Operate is the central case management system (CMS) of this stack, and we are seeking a CMS Analyst who can both configure it effectively and lead the migration of case data from the firms' legacy systems into it.

This is a hands-on, fixed-term programme role with a clear objective. You will be responsible for understanding Clio Operate’s architecture and data structure, applying this knowledge to ensure accurate, complete, and high-quality data migration for each hub firm during go-live. You will collaborate closely with data, BA, and test teams and play a critical role in determining each firm’s confidence in the transition.

If you have deep expertise in Clio Operate configuration, understand its data model, and take pride in delivering precise, complex migrations, you would be ideal for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Maintenance of Clio Operate

  • Configure and maintain Clio Operate, including:
    • Matter types
    • Custom fields
    • Workflow automation
    • Document templates
    • Task management
    • Permission structures
  • Ensure each hub firm’s case management environment aligns with their operational workflows.

Data Migration & Transformation

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of the Clio Operate data model, leveraging it to:
    • Map, transform, and load case and matter data accurately from legacy systems.
  • Lead case data discovery in legacy CMS (e.g., Aderant Expert Sierra), profiling:
    • Data structure
    • Quality issues
    • Quirks that may impact migration

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
